TIE 2 Voice Thread

Everything for the voice thread worked really well. I didn't have any problems making this voice thread. The students also loved to record their voices. I showed the students what to do and gave them a visual to remember. The students were able to record their voices alone. The best part of the voice thread was the end product. The students were excited to hear themselves, along with seeing their illustrations.
If I could do this voice thread again I wouldn't include it with a lesson. I would use the voice thread as a lesson on its own.

1. What did you learn from my voice thread?

2. What are some new characteristics you learned from the students?

This is my TIE 1 lesson plan. This lesson plan includes Blooms Taxonomy and the Multiply Intelligence.

During today’s lesson I have learned how to create a VoiceThread. My group and I put together some slides that were some “Life Coping Skills”. Through this experience I learned how to upload pictures from my cell phone to my slide. I also figured out in order to add text to a picture you must create the slide using power point. VoiceThread is going to be the new way to in cooperate technology with content. Adding technology to the classroom will make learning more interesting and the children more engaged.

Technology Integration Experience (TIE) Thoughts

One voice thread I enjoyed viewing was "Our Families". This voice thread showed different drawings of the students families. The drawings also told a story of what each students likes to do with their family. I thought this was a great activity because it can be used time and time again to show the different cultures within a classroom. Another voice thread I enjoyed watching was "The Adventures of Baby Bob". I loved how they showed a whole story within the voice thread. I think this would be a great activity for the students. The students can break up into groups and each group can work on a piece of the story. When they are all done they can put it together like a class book and use voice thread to publish it.
